This project (I think), is a testament to how easy-to-learn Adobe XD is, and how easily I was able to transfer my thoughts into a finished product.
A lot of my projects and artwork are inspired by anime, by colourful art I see around me, and cartoon ideas that come in my daydreams. So when I was assigned a redesign of a fictional site called "Badass Guides" for my Experience & Interaction Design class (taught by Kledia Spiro), I was more than prepared.
I went for a minimalistic, but fun character, and went out on a limb with a more saturated blue and coral colour palette (young 20-somethings, the demographic, would have less trouble with this, I reasoned, than others). But still kept readability in mind for drop-down menus and layered text over clickable photos. Below is my (interactable!) final wireframes on Adobe XD as well as my final presentation with the different steps towards redesign summarized.
